Chubb: Man up and let viewers comment on what you said. Then you will know how wrong you are.

Steve: Perhaps you should say something constructive and specific. Comments like the one you made below is why I do not have a comments section.

Chubb: I would like to deal with your wrongs at your website for the public to see.
The weekly Sabbath nailed on the cross?
The weekly Sabbath is not good for man?
The weekly Sabbath is a burden for man?
God's people don't have to remember the creation no more?
God's people don't need rest no more?
The Christ is the Lord of Sabbath when no one has to remember it?

Steve: sabbath bye bye: Col 2:14-17. First covenant which includes ten commandments bye bye: Heb 8:19 to 9:4 (notice the first abolished covenant that was replaced by the new included the tabernacle AND the two tablets of the ten commandments.)

Chubb: You interpreted Colossians 2:14-16 incorrectly.
What was the epistle to? Gentiles who never obeyed God's commandments, including remembering the Sabbath.
What was the written code against? Whoever did not obey the word of God.
What was the ultimate punishment for not obeying? Death.
How was the written code that was against sinners cancelled? By removing God's own words so that believers can do whatever they want now? No way, it's was by the death of the Lamb who took the sins of the world upon Himself so that man can return to God. It's simple gospel first prophesied in Isaiah 52-53. Those who response to the gospel were to depart from Babylon. If you care to read Isaiah 56, you shall see that gentiles who bind to God are to remember the Sabbath. The Colossians turned to God and came to observe the Sabbath and the perfect law of God and thus were judged by those who didn't.

Steve: As I expected, you didn’t understand a thing I said. You are hopelessly entangled in a cult.

Chubb: That's all you can offer? No wonder you don't allow people to comment on your website. You can shut me off but you can shut up truth - which you don't have.
God spoke through Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.

Steve: Col 2 is your easy passage, but it refutes you when you know the truth
http://www.bible.ca/7-Col2-14-16.htm. work on the Hebrews passage I gave you.

Chubb: Not sure if you skipped this on purpose to hide your lie.
Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. What sin? No body sinned - according to your lie.
Did the writer of Hebrews ever hint the law has become obsolete? Absolutely not. Rather, he quoted Jeremiah 31 twice: the new covenant will have His laws written in believers hearts cf Hebrews 8:10 and 10:16.
From Verse 9 on is regarding the new covenant which you should see it is regarding replacement of worship in the tabernacle and animal sacrifices which, because of the destruction of the temple in 70AD, would no longer be available even if the Israelites wanted to continue.
The Messiah said: Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the prophets, I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will be any means disappear form the law until everything is accomplished.
Have heaven and earth disappeared?
Paul said: Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.

Steve: You are partially correct. It is about the new covenant, but that came to force at the cross (col 2:14) and was already replaced by the new covenant in 33 AD, long before 70 AD.
Heb 8:13 through 9:4. Is devastating for you. The last thing listed that is abolished/replaced by the new is the ten commandments. Take a look.

Chubb: You apparently didn't read what I said - and I am going to repeat here:
Did the writer of Hebrews ever hint the law has become obsolete? Absolutely not. Rather, he quoted Jeremiah 31 twice: the new covenant will have His laws written in believers hearts cf Hebrews 8:10 and 10:16.
Cutting and pasting verses from Colossians and Hebrews without referring to the context to support what you said is not the way to the truth.

False teachings would equate the old covenant with the ten commandments and the laws.
Fact is the ten commandments and the laws are part of the content of covenants, new or old.

Try Revelations 11:19 with these false teachers they would say the written commandments and laws are replaced by the law of Christ which is what the ark in Revelations 11:19 represents.
Their argument: the earthly tabernacle is a copy and shadow of the one above and same goes for the commandments and laws.
