Old testament has examples in the final chapters of Ezra and Nehemiah. New testament the Messiah said He came not to bring peace cf Luke 9:57-62, Luke 14:25-30.
Yes the Messiah said one is not to divorce except for sexual immorality cf Matthew 19:9 and Paul said in 1 Corinthians 7:12-14 not to divorce if the unbeliever wants to stay.
How to reconcile these seemingly contradicting verses?
