A said I should add something regarding Sabbath after speaking with D and S.
Well, I think I said enough from my understanding of the Bible. I guess it is D's turn to share the proper remembrance - since he has been defending this for a few Sundays now.
But before I go, I'd like to share a few verses from the Bible some of the things the 1st century believers did when they met, not necessarily on Sabbaths.
Acts 2:46-47 Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.
1 Corinthians 14:26 What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.
Ephesians 5: 18-20 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
