Celestial beings - who are they?
Church leaders?
If so, what are the usual accusations against church leaders?
a. Not teaching the truth.
b. Not perfect. Not holy.
c. Earthly, lovers of money.
d. Eyes full of adultery.
So far so good.
Wait a minute. Are these the same accuse Peter has against the false teachers in the very same letter? Should Peter have simply said the Lord rebukes the false teachers?
Or are the accusations something else?
Or are the celestial beings someone else?
Angels? Not likely for the same sentence addresses angels as angels.
So who are they?
Are they really, as Eric said, Satan and his army?
How comes Satan, evil spirits, deceiving spirits, evil angels all described as under God's command?
